LOVE BIRDS

In light of the SVG Cuts Valentine's Day Challenge, I created this "birdcage".  I had a blast creating this paper piecing.  I used the following svg files from http://www.svgcuts.com/ to make this birdcage: Spring Bird Houses.svg, 24 Easy Valentines.svg, and Happy Birthday to You.svg.  I created the actual birdcage shape and hanger using the basic shapes offered in eCal/scal.

Bugs and Kisses Treat Bag!

Since the arrival of my new Sizzix Eclips, my poor Cricut Expression has felt left out and un-loved.  So, today I decided to get out my Cricut and use a cartridge to make something.  I picked the Doodle Charms cartridge and I made this adorable little treat bag.

To created this treat bag,  I cut out the jar shape from the Doodle Charms Cartridge twice.  I then hand cut the inside of the jar out.  I then took a large clear treat bag and filled it up with goodies.  I created the "dirt" with crushed oreo cookies.  I took out the cream of course and just used the cookies.  Hello, who doesn't love to eat the cream in those fabulous cookies?  Then I added the gummy worms.  I sealed the bag closed by gluing it within the cut out jar.  I then added the tag and some hand made ladybugs.

Alien Invasion!!!!

I originally created this album for ebay sale.  I sold the album, but I always save images of my creations.  A couple days ago a friend of mine was visiting and was viewing the images of my previous designs.  She fell head over heels for this one.  So, I have re-created the album for her.  Her son is into Aliens and Space. He has an upcoming birthday party planned with this theme, so I am certain this album will be full of photos soon.

I created this album using chipboard sheets.  I hand drew the album shape and all the little aliens inside as well.  Enjoy!

Steaming HOT Love

I love finding non-typicial craft items and creating something unique.  I used a vegetable steamer for this creation.  I have not added my photos yet, but I plan to put photos of my husband and I on the backs of each of these discs.

Dream Big Stair Step Card

I had so much fun creating this one of a kind stair step card.  I hand drew and tore the little fluffy mouse out of mulberry paper.  I used mulitple layers to make her seem three dimensional.  I also hand drew her extra large hat and the little tiny lady bugs.
All the flowers are from Prima and I used a SVG file from http://www.svgcuts.com/ to create the ferny leaves, but I hand drew the remaining leaves.  The Dream Big Title is a rub on.  I hope you enjoy this little card as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Warmly,
Judine

My Love "Wire" Mannequin

Oh, this is one of my most favorite creations for the new year!  Everything that is the color black is PAPER!  Yep, that is right.  No wire used here.  I added mulitple layers of cardstock to create this mannequin.  My daughter is using it to hold her jewerly.  I used basic shapes from SCAL and SVG files from http://www.svgcuts.com/

Santa's Old Time Radio

Check out my Santa's Old Time Radio!  I had a blast working with svg files from http://www.svgcuts.com/.
I used the following SVG files: Santa's Visit, French Quarter Ironwork, 3D Wintergreens, Valentine Mail boxes and basic shapes from SCAL.  The best part.  I left an open space in the back to add a tealight and when you push on Santa....the "radio" plays music!

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut all of the above svg files. Piece together the Skater, the large Snowflake, and the base of the Snowglobe (December Gifts Cyclinder).
2. Piece together Transparency Pumpkin leaving one side and the top of the pumpkin open. Using the foam diminsional squares, attach large snowflake to the bottom of the pumpkin.
3. Using the foam diminsional squares on each side of the Sihouette, attach to the center of the large snowflake. Glue pumpkin side shut, but leave the top open at this point.
4. Reaching in through the top of the pumpkin, dollop a small amount of glue on each side of the sihouette to cover the foam squares. Pour in snow glitter via the open top of the pumpkin. Shake to adhere glitter to dollops of glue. You can toss in a few snowflake buttons at this point to help cover the foam squares. Make sure figure is straight.
5. Wait about 2-6 hours depending on the amount of dolloped glue. (Waiting guarantees that the figure is dry and ready to be wiggled a bit without you worrying about it moving from the center or leaning to the front or back). Glue top of the pumpkin closed.
6. Glue together the light blue pumpkin pieces to create a small "lid" and add to the top of transparency pumpkin (globe) to cover up the glued closure. Add the Dress it up Snowflake buttons around the top edges, taking care to cover up any showing glue. Place self stick rhinestones to the center of the snowflake buttons. Glue the Bazzill Button to the top of the globe.
7. Attach French Fleurs around the sides of the base of the snowglobe, then add Dress It Up buttons between each Fleur. Place self stick rhinestones to the center of the fleurs and buttons.
8. Place wind up music box inside the cyclinder. Glue the Pumpkin/Globe to the cyclinder base. Hold until dry.
